Essential Oils Tips: Reduce Swelling

Lately, I have found myself sitting at my computers for long periods of time. That isn’t good for my leg that has a problem with circulation. I always use many Young Living Essential Oils and Blends in the morning and at night to help keep my blood flowing. Geranium, Peppermint (for circulation and energy), and AromaLife are my normal morning oils.
AromaLife and Lavender essential oil is my normal evening mixture.
But yesterday, I realized my leg was very puffy, and had been for a couple of days, but it seemed worse that night.
So when I was getting ready for bed, I decided to add an extra essential oil or two for the evening rub. I used Heliochrysum and Cypress essential oil to improve the circulation without the energy boost that Peppermint gives me in the morning – I did want to sleep, not wake up. The next morning my leg felt and looked normal again.
I often mix in different oils for various reasons each morning and at night, different days bring different needs that the essential oils can help to keep me in optimum health.
Most nights Young Livings Essential Oil Blend PeaceAndCalming just what I need to let go of the stress of the day.
But at times like these, when I am working very hard on coordinating the Commonwheel Artists Arts and Crafts Festival that takes place over Labor Day Weekend in Manitou Springs, I use RutaVala and their “Sleep Essense” capsules to insure a good night’s rest.

Learning how to work with FaceBook for an event has been a challenge, but a good one: http://bit.ly/cmwlartfest
There are times I need to diffuse Young Livings Harmony or MagnifyMyPurpose Essential Oil blends to keep me calm and my mind centered and in harmony with my goals.
And if you look for Commonwheel Festival on YouTube you can find some fun videos showing the art and crafts that some artists will be displaying. For the soundtrack of all the Videos is my friend Sarah Hope’s unique sounding music from her band “Edith Makes a Paper Chain”
If you live in Colorado and want to check out great art or the wonderful Mineral Springs I have been talking about in my other blogs, come spend a day in Manitou Springs, bring your favorite essential oil that you add to water, such as Peppermint or Lemon or Wintergreen and add a few drops to a bottle full of Spring water for a real healthy and refreshing treat.

And I have many videos for my essential oils there also with other friend’s music that I mention on the music page here.

The photo is taken a few minutes from my home. The Garden of the Gods is truly a gift of nature, as are Essential Oils. The street I live on is the beginning of the trail that goes up Pikes Peak in the Background.
